So
rare to find such a great mix of very small resorts
- all the way up to the mega resorts in the Laguna
complex. Bang Tao Beach and Bay is truly unique.
Starting on the south end of the Bay and working
north, here are short reviews of each resort
detailing what is different or special about each.
The link for each resort will provide a detailed
photos and information page, and a link for booking
should you wish to do so. Beach shack restaurants
serving authentic Thai cuisine are an easy walk from
anywhere along this beach.

The Andaman Bang Tao Bay
Resort
This small resort offers some of the rare and very
hard to find absolute beachfront bungalows on Phuket.
Only twelve bungalows are set along the sea front
and you are only seconds away from the sand of the
beach. Great little restaurant - one of the best in
the immediate area.

Sunwing Resort and Spa
Opened in December 2006, this is
the newest resort on the Bay. Beachfront location
with several restaurants. Immediate access to
several excellent beach shack restaurants in the
area.
Know that this resort markets
itself to families - and specifically to families
with small children.

Layan Beach Resort and Spa
Village
An old favorite on the far north
end of Bang Tao Beach. Sits on a steep hillside
with excellent views. Not on the best area of the
beach, but the spa may keep you busy anyway.
